Pocd
Anyone else get groinal responses when they see a child in public and get fears something might happen? That happened to me earlier at work today. I felt super uncomfortable and my mind is telling me I like children. I don’t even know how I got ocd. I’m a bodybuilder and I don’t understand etc this is happening
If I could tell you all the times this has happened to me you would be shocked. It’s happened ever since I was a child and the worst part is that is makes you feel gross. But just remember, that’s the worst part. You didn’t hurt that child and you didn’t try too. The worst thing that came from this is you felt uncomfortable and that is it.
It happens and sucks. Just try to remain calm and let the feeling/thought pass. Do not ruminate! As hard as it might be do not ruminate because it will make things worse
Yes, at first I didn’t know it was ocd, and I was scared for the longest to even try looking it up online, until I saw a video on tiktok about it and saw that it was a response because of the brain and ocd, and that it wasn’t our true feelings, and I felt so relieved that I wasn’t the only one, what’s helped me is realizing that it was just ocd and that it was not my true self and not to fight it and not to beat my self up about it and to realize there are others as well who are overcoming this
Thing is I confront a boy. And I’m normal! No anxiety whatsoever. But when it’s a little girl, I immediately get anxiety, feel uncomfortable, get groinal response and get fears… I hate it a lot but I just remain still and just really calm down. I hate it.

Yep, this happens nearly every time I see a child in public. I feel disgusting. Before I was 17, this never happened.
POCD TW I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a picture of a little girl and suddenly I had the urge to kiss or touch her or something it scared me a lot and I started scrolling faster to get away from it BUT I felt a groinal response and it felt SO real like butterflies and twitching and itching and everything maybe even vaginal lubrication and I had the urge to masterbate and scrolled back to make sure I don’t desire this and I felt calmer when I didn’t feel anything looking at her again but I still feel anxious and kinda aroused during the day thinking back to the situation I don’t know what to do it feels so real the urges and everything ?
I’m 29 weeks pregnant and keep having intrusive thoughts about my husband sexually abusing my husband. And what’s worse is that I’m having groinal responses. It makes it so confusing. These thoughts are obviously repulsive and make me horrified. But the groinal response makes me question if I am turned on by something so awful??? I mostly have pocd. What can be done about this? Also, I have handled my ocd in the past successfully. This feels like if I am aroused by this then maybe I need help. It’s also making me like freaked out even when I am aroused by normal things, like my husband.
Every time I look at a child now I have these feelings and groinials and thoughts that I just can’t tell if they’re real or not bc it feels like it’s real it feels like I’m denying I’m attracted to them or something when I just notice that they are cute and have like attractive faces/feautures? And sometimes it feels like I notice them like an adult :/ but sometimes like if it’s like a vid or something sometimes I think it’s someone older but then I see longer and I’m like oof it’s not 🫠 like ughhh I just hate this idk what to do and I don’t want to be become an abuser I’m scared like I’ll be like my abuser and i don’t feel anxious like before bc I had these thoughts come up since 2020
