Has anyone else on here had a miscarriage? If so can I ask how long it took before it got “better”? Like did it start to hurt less over time? I had one almost 2 weeks ago. Mine was only 6 weeks but I miss my baby so much. It hurts everyday and I don’t know how to healthily escape this pain.
I miscarried in 2014 at 16 weeks. Everyone heals in their own time and in their own way. You're not alone. It will get better over time.
We lost two babies at 15 weeks and 17 weeks. It hurts so so bad and it does get a little lighter but I always think of our babies. Praying Gods peace to cover you thru this truly !! Sending love🙏🏼💖💖💖💖💖
I had two and they were very different in the experience. One was dramatic loss of blood etc, went to the ER. The other was by myself looking at the ultrasound. It’s been 10 years and to this day I will have flash backs on the one found through ultrasound. I was so distraught I left my babies ultrasound pictures there. It was my second so testing was done and it was a boy. Time does help heal but the memories still pop in my head.
My deepest condolences for your loss. I grieve with you. Personally, I have not experienced the loss of a pregnancy as you have. Whatever you are feeling is understandable and valid; don’t try to push it away or bury your emotions. Let yourself feel it. I’ve seen people very close to me (my father) bury his grief for my brother’s passing and it nearly destroyed my parents’ marriage. My apologies for not being much help. Yes I had to go to the er as well. On top of the trauma of losing my baby I had the trauma of experiencing the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. It was like period cramps x 10. I have chronic migraine and I’d rather experience an all-night migraine than that hour and a half of pain I experienced then. I’m scared of this becoming a pattern. (may be ocd trying to get in my head) But I’m only getting older and will be 34 soon so I don’t have time to waste.
My boyfriend of almost two years just broke up with me. I’m hurting a lot and the ocd has skyrocketed because of it, especially since I haven’t been feeling the best already. I also always have a physical reaction to stress, and have been dealing with feeling sick all night. Does anyone have any tips or advice for how to deal with this?
I consider myself recovered from OCD. i still have intrusive thoughts but they no longer upset me. some days i really dont even remeber if i had any thoughts. I am so thankful to be better because it was SO bad at one point. However lately i have been grieving the 2.5 years of my life that i lost to constant intrusive thoughts and compulsions. It makes me so sad that i wasted so much time stuck in my own mind. does anyone else ever feel this way?
OCD stole those precious moments away from my baby and I. She’s 18 months now but I went through so much. I was having really scary thoughts. I didn’t want to be around her cause I was scared I was going to hurt her. I avoided my baby when she needed her mother. I was so scared to be alone with her. It hurts so bad. She’s the most perfect thing on this earth and I feel like she deserves so much better. I’ve struggled with OCD and depression all my life. I’m so scared that I’m going to ruin her somehow with all my mental health issues. God I just want the best for her. I can’t get over the guilt. I’m 20 weeks with my second and I’m so scared. I love my babies so much but i don’t want to ruin them.
