Pocd help??

Does anyone else go through this? I am still a teenager, almost done with my teen years tho! Obviously we know how teenage guys dress. I graduated high school this year, and whenever i see people like guys post in high school (junior or senior) it makes me kinda sad, like dang ill never have a hallway crush again and soon enough im not even gonna be attracted to this. And it kinda makes me sad I hope that doesn’t sound weird it’s more of like a sad of growing up thing but now im scared its bc im a p and i WANT TO BE attracted to younger people. idk if this makes sense. like im really attracted to dreads and streetwear type of style, like how some of the dudes at my high school dressed. But like it makes me sad knowing im not in school anymore and i wont experience high school crushes or like my type will probably change but im still scared this makes me a p;( help :(((

I dont think that makes you a p :( i think something like i wish i had a high school sweetheart when i was in high school. I was watching an anime when i thought about this and i dont think that makes me a p i just wish i had that experience when i was younger cuz thats what my parents had (they met in high school married and spawned me) this doesn’t make you a p because i think everyone wants that young love that grows with them when they get older and stick together. And plus streetwear is just a fashion style maybe you just like how it makes people look cool

@co653 Try to separate your ocd thoughts from that stuff it will cause you distress if you think too much. Plus if you just graduated high school your young years aren’t over yet! College can be great especially now tht youll have more freedom just live it. I graduated high school last year and so far college life is way more fun :)

I’m 18 and graduating soon I have the same fear. Cause my anxiety ruined my years of middle school and high school. So I definitely have this same fear

@1000anonymous1000 I’m sorry you were going through this, but it will be OK. I’m here to tell you OCD will twist anything to make you worry, do not pay any mind as it gives it power. I know that’s easier said than done, but you got this.

I have no idea anymore. I guess this all started with me worrying about whether I was gay, then whether I was a P, then worried about being just attracted to teenagers. After that I started freaking out about not feeling “grown up” enough. Like “I’m an adult wtf is wrong with me for seeing someone who is probably younger and thinking they’re physically attractive. Then I started overthinking not finding older adults (like 30 or 40) very attractive. Like ofc I’m probably not gonna find them attractive, they’re not anywhere close my age. Maybe the desires are half real. Maybe as a 21 yr old young adult I do find older teenagers (16+) somewhat physically attractive. I still think it’d be weird to date one. Maybe that’s the normal reaction I’m supposed to have. If not, please let me know. I just don’t wanna do anything illegal one day and I’m super scared I will. I can’t tell if the fear is my just being afraid of the law though, in which case I might actually just be a bad person. I hate that my brain is just rationalizing thoughts now. I feel like I can’t do the ERP thing of “just accept that the thoughts are there but don’t engage.” Like what? How can I just think a thought that might be so integral to my identity and just ignore it? If it’s all true and I don’t like people my age anymore then I have to know and plan around that, that could change my entire life. I’m rambling, my b.
