(for context, read my other posts) I feel like no one responds to my posts (even if that’s not true). I think it might be because it seems like I’m asking for reassurance, or maybe it’s just the algorithm. I just want to talk to someone who has similar experiences or can relate. I’m really desperate.

same i haven’t posted in a while but something just happened to me tht i needed someone to talk to ab and no one commented it feels i hve no one else to talk to lmao so i’m definitely feeling this right now
I feel like this is another trick of ocd. Unless I can find someone with the exact theme I have then no one can help me. Because there is no one that understands my issues and all is lost. And then “OCD” says “see you are really broken. It’s ok though. If you do these compulsions for me then I (ocd) will provide you the short term relief you need.” In my opinion It’s as close to a deal with the Devil as we can get. Short term relief for a life time of compulsions that stop you living your life. Here is the thing I have learned. Your theme might be unique to you because it’s yours. However your OCD is not unique. At its core it’s the same as everyone else. An intrusive thought, image or urge that is ego diatonic enters your consciousness. A surge of “bad feels” overwhelms you. Think anxiety, guilt, shame, fear, sadness or even no feeling at all . The sudden lack of feeling to something you don’t like is OCDs best trick. Next follows a ritual, compulsion or safety behavior to relieve the “bad feels”. Avoidance or reassurance seeking are big ones. You get short term relief which conditions your brain that this is the way and the whole cycle starts all over again. Treatment can be different but the end goal is the same. Retrain our brain that we can handle the intrusive thought and that the danger it thinks it’s protecting us from is not real. It’s just a thought. Try doing your post like this. I have “X”obsession which drives me to do “Y” compulsion. What might be a good “ERP” to deal with that.

@ghost I haven't dealt with that exact situation, but I did have unlimited internet access at a young age, so I have my fair share of regrets. I hope you're able to give yourself some grace. I don't think you would judge another person as harshly if they shared a similar experience with you. Our minds often blow things out of proportion.
So I’m always telling people who say I’m not getting any help or advice on my post that maybe those people just don’t know what to say or they’re afraid of possibly making the situation worse… well while that is completely understandable I feel like the amount of help/advice/ interaction has went down drastically on this app.. again not complaining I’m thankful for everyone on here but I just wanted to know if others have felt the same way
i think i really need someone to talk to, I’m starting to feel like more and more everyday like I’m insane, if someone would be willing to private message with me or something id really appreciate it. if not it’s fine if it’s reassurance seeking.
I know right now i shouldnt ask for reassurance... and that its unhealthy... but right now i am so triggered by the events on my previous post and I just need someone to respond so so basly...
