Sexual Orientation. Someone else experienced this?

I'm taking medication, but it's not helping. I have so many intrusive thoughts, it's unbearable. I can't go out and see women. I feel like I'm going crazy. My head compares the beauty of each woman; any sensation any of them provokes in me triggers discomfort. I'm really sick; I really feel close to insanity. I don't even think about it, it's already automatic, my body automatically prepares itself to feel anxiety or whatever.I see no hope! Oh my God And I can't tell anyone.

You are not alone my friend I am going through the same... What i would suggest it... Drop the need to figure it out for now.. you are full of anxiety at this moment let it pass... It will loose it's power soon then you will feel good... So after then follow this steps:-👇🏻 Don't engage with them Let them pass like a cloud Don't let it panic you Don't figure out Accept it's presence Then do ERP... And see a therapist if possible... You are not your thoughts and feelings aren't facts!! It's all part of OCD

@Anonymous Terrible to point... where i started to Panic...it made me question my whole life...the more I tried to solve them ... The more powerful it becomes... I would do many compulsions just to feel temporary relief... And didn't even this thing even existed... It can also happen if someone already had underlying mental health issues like anxiety depression ADHD autism or any kind of past traumas... Then the what ifs come ... Then you again get tangle with them.... But the more I fight the more I drown myself... But the key is to live with uncertainty and cut the compulsions... So I am currently in the recovery phase... And getting back the usual self... We just need to rewire our brain... Then it will go away and it will bring you peace... But i still have ups and downs everyday 🤧 so i feel like there's no exit of this things... Then I also have to deal with intrusive thoughts 😭... They are much more horrible .... False attraction urges feeling groinal responses... But if you are in just stage one u can recover first without getting into this mess!!! 🥲

Please continue to speak with your prescriber. And reach out to our member advocates if you cant come see me or another of our therapists. There absolutely is hope. My Grandmother told me that "Beautiful people are like a rose garden. You can admire their beauty but you dont have to pick them. " We can help you with the sensation and the compulsion cycle as well as the fear. The poster below me had great thoughts around this. Try looking at people without any judgement, or importance. And please take good care of yourself. You matter to a lot of us who want to help you realize that this is an OCD thought. You can break that thought.

Thank you, thank you so much! I don't have the money to pay a therapist. Medication alone is very expensive. I'll follow your advice. ❤️

It sounds incredibly overwhelming to deal with these intrusive thoughts, especially when they seem to trigger such automatic anxiety responses. It’s not uncommon to feel like you’re losing control. Self pleasure and intrusive thoughts :/

I’m sharing this bc I need advice or even support from anyone who can relate. If you can’t relate and don’t think you’ll say anything helpful or kind pls don’t comment anything… I’ve been struggling with somethings that’s making me question myself. There has been moments while self pleasuring when I get intrusive thoughts, in those moments it feels like I’m enjoying or even self pleasuring myself bc of the thought. Right after I immediately have an anxiety attack and my HEART drops bc it feels terrible I feel like a disgusting monster :( ppl have told me I haven’t done a bad bc of how intense my guilt and panic are but I keep thinking that MAYBE I made a horrible decision in the moment and the guilt is just realising that it’s just wrong this doesn’t make sense to me because I’ve always told myself that I would never act on this in 1 million years and I’ve been known that these things are wrong so I’m just like constantly questioning myself these feelings and exact same situation has happened two times already I even promised myself that I wouldn’t act on anything beforehand and yeah, I still felt like I did act on my thought during my alone time I’m genuinely convinced that I’m a horrible and it’s even got into the point where I don’t wanna be here anymore and I don’t even think this is my OCD :( tbh

Intrusive thoughts

I struggle so bad with intrusive thoughts. They can be so bad that I'll cry because I KNOW that's not how I feel or want to do. (Too embarrassed to say what they're about) I'll constantly try to figure out why I have them, and constantly figure out what they mean, causing me to constantly circle around and around. I had to get on anxeity meds, which helped a little but the thoughts still happen. How do you help yourself with this? How do you know that you're just not some physcopath? 😅

Medication for OCD?

Medication for OCD? Hello all, 19 male here, this seems like a cool community that isn’t nearly as triggering as reddit. I have pretty severe bouts of existential thinking or fear of going crazy ( psychosis ) after some pretty heavy mushroom trips a few years ago, I know logically I should be fine but I do know what it’s like to lose it and it’s scary. Currently I deal with relationship focused OCD, it’s all day from before I even open my eyes. I want things to work out with my girlfriend badly. Also I can come close to a panic attack sometimes which perpetuates everything. Anyway, I mention the fear of going crazy because the way my anxiety/derealization makes me feel is that I’m not mentally stable cause I feel out of it or unreal. I saw that a lot of anxiety and depression medication can cause psychosis and I feel like I could use some help in getting ahead of my OCD because the compulsions are had not to give into when I’m in such distress/not knowing. Plus overall I just feel like I have no idea how I feel about close to anything. Anyone relate about that ?
