Worried 18+

I feel like I did something bad now because I went to put the blanket on my brother and my hand was close to his back I had a thought before like “it’s time to touch him” and I stood up and he was on a call but he was sleeping so now I’m like why did I stood up? Was it to take the iPad or what exactly? I feel like a child molester I don’t remember touching his area or butt because I didn’t but I had my hand near his back I asked my brother if I did anything he said no I asked if I did anything when I put the blanket over him he said he was sleeping so that doesn’t reassure me So I almost acted on it?

Replaying the situation, not believing your brother etc are all compulsions. You will check, recheck, analyse, get an answer, doubt the answer, question, check again, search on google etc etc and before you know it 4 hours have passed. If not treated sooner it gets worse and worse. You keep going down the rabbit hole.

You aren’t going to become a person that molests children overnight and then asks if you did something. This is ocd and you cannot reason with it,it will always have a better answer for you. You cannot reason with it at all. Get treatment asap if you aren’t already because it will make you go around in circles.

Absolutely not intent… right now you are doubting yourself as I did but when you get better you will realise how it was just doubt. However do not analyse, or look for proof for or against. You will not get an answer. I know it feels scary and real but it’s not, it’s ocd.

Exactly what everyone else has said, you are not your thoughts and you cannot reason with ocd!! It attaches to your worst fears and just the fact that you’re questioning it so intently MEANS it’s ocd playing with you. Trust that your thoughts are not your truth.

I’ve given you reassurance now which hopefully has made you feel better but it may come back with another doubt that will feel real. If you seek reassurance again, the same pattern will keep repeating. It is the hardest thing to do but refrain from the compulsion of analysing, reassurance seeking, ruminating. I get sucked in every now and then, by now I should know better but it feels so real.

@HadOCDsince2003 You’re right because I repeated the way I put the blanket on him and called myself a child m and I feel so upset I don’t believe my brother even though he’s tired of me asking him if I did something I just think I did something and he doesn’t know it or probably doesn’t think it’s bad

Worried about situation that happened with nephew new memory or not idk I'm scared Worried about situation that happened with nephew I'm so scared when I was holding my nephew I thought " I wonder if this would sexually stimulate him" ( not the exact words don't want to be extremely graphic) I began to bump him like how people bump babies on their hips he was on my stomach cuz that's how he was handed to me. Now I fear I remember also thinking if his diaper would stimulate his private part or something like that IDK LIKE I FEEL LIKE I REMEMBER THINKING THAT BUT ALSO DON'T??? LIKE O FEEL LIKE maybe I thought this at a different time for whatever weird reason but then I'm scared that it makes sense it would happen when I held him. Does it change the situation?????I feel extremely sick because I don't know why I would think that or if it was my brain or me. Idk if it was or wasn't cuz I felt his diaper against me? Was I curious if it would? It feels like I was curious but wth why???Was it just something weird I thought? Am I actually a monster? I had been having disturbing thoughts I'm pretty sure that were related to my POCD in general for a while before that. Ik my nephew didn't get hurt but I'm so scared why would I do something like that I feel so sick and disgusted. I know away from that situation I have no sexual interest or attraction towards him I'm just so freaked out and disgusted. I don't wanna be a bad person and I don't want my worst fear to be true.

18+ help pleaseeeeeeee What if he’s actually doing it I’m worried So I’m convinced my 9 year old brother is raping me in my sleep i saw that the controller for the lamp was on my bed and I immediately thought he did something to me and he said he didn’t put that on my bed that he woke up and went to my moms room to change and I just got a suspicious feeling like maybe he did do something to me I’m worried about it I’m just thinking every time he tries to get close to me is because he’s doing it for inappropriate reasons and I get weirded out by him being close to me or him looking at me or being talkative to me it’s like I’m very suspicious I want to ask him because I’m worried like you think he could do that to me? Convinced that I did something

I asked my brother if I did something and he said no I don’t believe him I think he’s lying last night my mind was trying to convince me to do something to him like what if I did something in my sleep or we did something and I don’t remember it because I don’t remember anything my brother asked me this morning where is his iPad and I don’t remember him asking me that so that’s where I’m worried what if it’s the same I feel a sensation down there so I’m convinced I did something really bad
