I have had the same in regards to this that what if this is what I actually want when I know it’s not. I have a girlfriend myself and I get intrusive unwanted thoughts all the time it’s about not letting them get to you and try look passed them the more you dwell on them the more you have the less you dwell the less you have it’s all habit.

I felt like that for a long time, but it’s not true they only affect us because they are againist our core identity. That’s what affected me so much because it was my most important quality to me and when it got attacked it felt so real and brought so fear, I’ve a lot of bad days still but I’m trying my best to try and not let it defeat me. You can do the same

@evasprog Ive been the exact same it helps that we go through the same struggles, when your spiralling at times it’s hard to distinguish but when I’m out of my head I feel like myself it’s just about getting out of your head when you feel like spiraling don’t try your best to feed your attention somewhere else it’s a good way to ease the cycle

@evasprog This is a symptom of soocd sadly and I do relate because soocd targets who you are not what you do and that’s why it’s debilitating
