my UTI was the most painful thing i have ever experienced. if you’re not in agony, i doubt you have one.
was the pain coming from the hole itself when you peed or did you kind of feel pain from the urethra like the tube kinda tingled and hurt
Is your theme health related OCD? Okay sounds like everything is okay from your most recent updates. Sorry I answered your post not taking in the factor this may be an obsessional theme. 😊
Yes it is. I always feel somerhinf slightly and then fear the worstZ
So I wanted to hear how an actual UTI felt from people’s experience to kind of compare and see if I’m just overreactingZ
@j123 Okay! I understand, OCD does that. Are you in treatment for OCD? 😊
@ButterflyStar Yes I am! I’m so much better because I usually would Run to a doctor every day Honestly. The only reason I freak about UTI is because I read If you don’t treat them they can progress quickly to your kidneys so I never want to leave anything untreated
@j123 Aww I'm so glad you are doing better!! Yoy go girl!
@ButterflyStar Thank you :)
when i peed, and also my lower abdomen.
Did you feel it constantly or worse when you like bent forward or something
@j123 constantly
@missbluesky Idk how to explain how I feel but it doesn’t hurt feom rhe actual hole when I’m peeing it feels like the tube is inflamed or something but the pee coming out doesnt make ir hurt
@missbluesky How long did you wait before getting antibiotics ? I just fear if itd not treated ASAP I’ll get kidney infection
Hey! Yes sounds like a uti. I understand what you mean It's so uncomfortable. I would take some pain relief - and contact a doctor so they can give you an antibiotic. Explain to them you probably think it is a UTI. Did this come out of nowhere? Or did you recently have sex? (if you don't mind my asking, you don't have to reply but it's related).😅 Good proper wiping direction after urinating is really important. Always peeing after sex is a must. Never have sex with the urge to pee/full bladder, just go pee. And general hygiene around sex is important because its very easy for bacteria to be spread from bum to vagina, or from your partner. Sorry if that's TMI 😂, just incase!
Oh no so you think it’s a UTI?:( I’m so scared because I really have always been afraid of getting them and tried to prevent them.. I didna few days ago but I peed after and took cranberry pills. I don’t have the sensation anymore it kind of started while I was holding in pee while driving , and then I feel the urethra I guess get really irriTted and feel weird (like the tube itself).. when I pee there’s no pain or blood. It’s better this morning so idk
It’s weird because I used the AZO UTI test strips that say are same test doctors use and it was negative last night and this morning
Hi! It sounds like a UTI, but could also be nothing and I’ve had plenty before! The vast majority of UTI’s Can be very mild, i sometimes have what you’re experiencing and drink water for a few days and it goes away, other times it’s gotten worse and i’ve needed antibiotics. If your anxiery is surrounding health, I would just try grounding yourself a bit and focus on what’s in front of you and taking the proper precautionary measures (as you already have) but also fostering uncertainty of “the worst” always being a possibility. Drinking a lot of water has always helped me to get rid of that feeling/pain!
Ok thank you. It’s weird between I took UTI test strip last night and this morning and both were negative . I don’t have any burning Or pain it just felt more like inflammation or irritation internally but not when the pee came out if that makes sense
I honestly just fear it getrinf bad and needing antibiotics or possibly having one and not taking antibiotics ASAP and getrinf a kidney infection
@j123 Yes I get what you’re describing. The urinary area can be in that gray area sometimes unfortunately. If both tests say negative I would say that logically you are probably in the clear, though as we know anxiety doesn’t listen to logic. Hope you feel better though! ❤️
I’m freaking out about my uti and kidney infection right now
Hey guys, I need some really help on this one. When I am out of the house I constantly feel like I want to pee even though I had already peed. This gives me great anxiety and I can't think of anything else. If someone has experienced something like that or has some advice, please let me know.
I need a place to write this out. 18+ only I’m having a pregnancy scare even though there was no P in V action. I’m worried semen might’ve accidentally gotten on my boyfriend’s hand. I know he did not touch himself. I was 1 day outside of my fertile window according to my cycle tracking when the non P in V sexual encounter occurred. I started having very minor left ovary pain 6 days before my period, along with some GI issues. There was flecks (like seriously 2 tiny SPECKS) of blood when I wiped 4 days before my period I’ve never noticed this before my period before. I had my period on time and regular. But I read that girls can mistake implantation bleeding for their period so I started to worry. I took a pregnancy test 3 days after my period ended and it was negative. My left ovary pain is still present the same as it was before my period, but now it’s coupled with minor lower back pain and GI issues. I keep worrying about being pregnant and that I took my pregnancy test wrong. I keep googling symptoms and quizzes trying to see how I compare. I don’t want to take another pregnancy test because I know how this loop works but I can’t stop overthinking.
Does anybody else feel like they have to go pee just one last time except it happens over and over again at night time? I usually cave and go to the bathroom after feeling like I have to for a long time but it’s always just a dribble like I didn’t actually have to go. I was seeing a physiotherapist for pelvic floor exercises and she said that it wasn’t a physical issue and that it was most likely psychological. Wondering if this is OCD? Somatic OCD possibly?
