The best advice I was ever given was to stop trying to figure out what the thoughts and feelings mean. They’re irrelevant. People in ordinary relationships who are neurotypical have the same relationship thoughts that people with OCD have but don’t feel like figuring out what it all means. Give yourself permission to have the weird thoughts and feelings and not analyze it. Allow yourself to be mentally lazy.

Feeling frustrated with relationship OCD because anything my partner does that upsets me if I start to talk about it more than one day he tells me it’s OCD. So there seems to be no room for me to be upset about it anything in our waste. Please help how I can describe to him when I know it’s OCD and when it’s not
whats up guys what are some tips dealing with ocd and what to do when a thought makes u anxious ??
I struggle so bad with intrusive thoughts. They can be so bad that I'll cry because I KNOW that's not how I feel or want to do. (Too embarrassed to say what they're about) I'll constantly try to figure out why I have them, and constantly figure out what they mean, causing me to constantly circle around and around. I had to get on anxeity meds, which helped a little but the thoughts still happen. How do you help yourself with this? How do you know that you're just not some physcopath? 😅
How do you guys get past the anxiety? I feel like my thoughts are the only thing that control my mind. So often I feel like I should just leave my partner even tho I love them so much because I just feel like these thoughts are too much. I over analyze everything. I feel so stuck and defeated. I just want to be normal. I feel so toxic for the thoughts that I have
