ROCD and Snapping
My partner and I have been working together on communicating when things bother each other. Especially because clear communication cuts down on the repetitive thoughts a lot. We talked about me saying something when I feel like they’re snapping at me so today I said something when I felt like they were being short with me and all they said was that they weren’t snapping they were just trying to talk to me normally. Invalidating my feelings wasn’t the intent and of course we did talk about it after the fact but now every time I feel like something is going on I second guess if it’s just all in my head and something my OCD is just manufacturing or if it’s an actual issue. How do you guys discern when things are just the OCD versus actual things happening?
