OCD & hypersensitivity
I was wondering if anyone else has experiences with both OCD & hypersensitivity/being extremely emotional. I’m not sure if they are connected or not, but for as long as I can remember I’ve been an overly sensitive & emotional person. My boyfriend can’t even remember the last time he’s cried, meanwhile I couldn’t even tell you how many times I’ve cried this week alone. I’ve been told that it’s draining to be around someone who’s an emotional “hot mess”, someone who seems to live in a constant state of anxiety, worry, fear, doubt, etc. I don’t want to be a burden to my friends & family, but when I keep everything bottled up, it overflows & it sends me into such intense spirals. Can anyone else relate? What are some things you do to help control your emotions?
