OCD Lies
As we all know OCD likes to lie to us. As my therapist says, it tries to convince us that there is a way to live anxiety-free & we must search for the answer, the “right” way, the “perfect” way of doing something. Does anyone have any experience with their OCD trying to lie & convince them that what they’re suffering from isn’t actually OCD at all? Sometimes I feel like the work I do inside & outside of therapy is all for nothing & that it’s pointless because what I have is something that can’t be improved or healed. I’m curious to hear from others who have felt similarly & how you respond to these lies
