Intrusive thoughts are worse when I’m happy?
I was wondering if this happens to anyone else. If I’m having a pretty good week with little to no intrusive thoughts (I’m on meds and do therapy) , I noticed that during a good, happy moment I will get an intense intrusive thought. For example, I suffer from Relationship OCD and tonight I was hugging and kissing my boyfriend after a long day. I felt so safe, happy and calm. Then out of nowhere I get an intrusive thought that said “wow this is so nice, it’s going to really hurt when we break up and I break his heart” like WTF. I have no intentions of leaving him at all. I hate these thoughts!
