SO-OCD
If you've been living with OCD for a long time, do you ever just habituate to the thoughts to the point where you're so used to them that they no longer make you anxious?

Can only give you my experience. I’m as anxious and as fearful of the thoughts/ideas as I was the first day it happened. I’ll go through a few days where I don’t seem to be impacted, but they come back. They feel real. They feel true. Part of me believes them. Horrible.
No longer make you anxious but always depressed
So I’ve noticed that my OCD has calmed down, I’m getting less intrusive thoughts but I feel more uncertain than ever. Is this normal for recovery?
I feel I have HOCD FOR MORE THAN 10 years now. Basically all my ocd started since me and my husband started dating for real…. Will it ever go away? Will I ever be happy? Will I ever know? I don’t know… How long for you? Edit for me it’s more SO OCD cause I think I’m bisexual
Is anyone else sort of desensitized by their intrusive thoughts? I still get slight discomfort, and I don't like them, but I think I've been becoming numb to them in a way? It might just be a mental drain. I've been having an anxiety spike due to them for a month now.
