Prozac success stories?
Please tell me some Prozac success stories I’m starting it tomorrow! Feeling hopeful because I was doing ok on Zoloft and have been much worse since I’ve been off so we’re trying a new med.

I started taking it early in the pandemic when my anxiety was through the roof. It helped a lot but it took a few weeks to feel a difference.
Hi! I am actually on the same exact med journey as you. I am officially 2 weeks on prozac. I'll be truthful and say the first week, while my body was getting used to it, I was having increased anxiety and more panic attacks in a short amount of time. But that has started to stabilize and I'm noticing I'm able to gain control of those faster than I have in the past. And it will only get better with more time! I hope this one works great for you 🩷
@Anonymous Thanks for sharing! I hope it works out well for both of us! I’ve been on sertraline before, so I expect the first few weeks to be rough. Hopefully only better from there!
@RosemaryFlowers Ditto! Sertraline I feel like did more or less the bare minimum for me so fingers crossed prozac is the one for us. Best of luck 😊
I am currently on 60 mg took some time but I’m def feeling a difference for sure !
Yes I’m on Prozac right now at 50 mg and it works great for me. It does take a bit to work I’d say like a month to feel a difference
I was diagnosed with OCD and I started Prozac 10 days ago. I have struggled with intrusive taboo sexual thoughts for 12+ years (I’m 24) but now I feel like it’s turning into feelings. I’ve never done anything to anyone or nor do I wish to ever. I am just scared of my own brain if this is something I actually want. My psychiatrist said I should feel better/start getting clarity after 2 weeks. But I keep feeling worse and worse. Anyone else has experience with Prozac and how it went for them?
I am having a really hard time with ocd and anxious thoughts and feeling extremely uneasy. I'm home alone today so it's really easy for me to get stuck in my thoughts. I'm on day 4 of prozac. I felt like yesterday I had a period of time of about 30 minutes where I felt really focused and like the anxiety lifted completely. But then an obsession started and it brought me right back down. Hopefully I feel relief again today. I'm going to go get some house work done to take my mind off of things. Does anyone have any first hand experiences with prozac? How long until you felt any relief? Any really bad side effects? Any unforseen pluses? Much appreciated.
So my doctor is starting me on 25 mg of Zoloft soon and I'm actually really exicted. I'm finally ready for this to be manageable. I know it's not a cure but I am told that zoloft is primarily recommended for specifically ocd. I'm not sure if I'm ready to start it tonight but yeah. Please do not tell me any negative side effects or anything related to nausea since I'm taking it for emetophobic contamination ocd and I don't need any opinions to make me biased but if any of yoy had SUCCESSFUL zoloft stories please comment!!
