Why straight men hate women so much

I know its cultural. I know its taught. I know they are socialized. But what Im struggling to find out is… the root? Why do so many men hate us? Why don’t they listen to us? Why do they disenfranchise us? why don’t they see us as human? i dont even know if it’s because we are physically weaker because I’ve seen men show respect to young boys much more than girls and woman. Its like they are capable of seen males as human but not us. But why? Its unfair and its making me really depressed

I honestly think🌽plays a huge part in this and men are exposed to this at a very very young age. This makes them see us as object straight from the beginning and so it’s hard to break free from it as an adult.

Unfortunately it's the way it's been for centuries. These days it shouldn't happen but unfortunately still does. Biggest part of it like you said is taught, seen etc and religion brings it in as well unfortunately. I'm male but always wondered the same, why do woman get things so much harder than guys. Some woman are stronger than guys, physically etc. with more and more woman becoming a strong source for younger people, the trend within some cultures may go to a more equal setting. To me if a guy treats a woman in a way where she's belittled then he's not truly a guy. The biggest issue are the ones with daughters and treat their partner that way but then say their daughter not having that from a guy. What they don't understand she's going grow up to think it's normal when it's not.

I think it’s heavily pushed on them to see us as objects in order to be successful, man’s idea of success is wrapped in himself not elevation of his woman, the woman is just there to make him look good to everyone else. Selfishness is pushed on them at a very young age, it takes a highly emotional intelligent, self aware man to not internalize this. Kinda like internalized homophobia, racism, misogyny. There are definitely good men in the world but it usually stems from them having a good, present mom, and positive male influences in their life. I know a man whose handsome, respectful, good job, with no kids. They’re definitely out there.

I noticed myself not understanding why things are wrong like I be having thoughts like "why would cheating be bad" and I just actually find it hard to find a reason? The only things I know are bad are like being mean and doing crimes but like damn

I’m confused. I think I’ve gotten progressively more boy crazy and more of a hopeless romantic, but I’ve completely manipulated myself into thinking that boys just don’t like me and I think it’s a fact. In the past, I was confused and lost on what my sexuality was so I would be in a lot of “flirty” friendships thinking that I genuinely liked my female friends I had these friendships with but that was far from the truth. I can’t imagine myself being with a woman but for some reason it’s just easier for me to talk and flirt with them. I have trauma involving why I brainwashed myself into thinking that I’m a magnet that repels boys from me and I still think that and it’s ruining my brain. (I have a crush on this guy and texted him for the first time, he never replied!!!) which honestly proves my point even more. Am I right or is just all in my head? Some advice please!!

What should I do guys?

I’ve been feeling so disconnected lately, like I’m not even living my own life. It’s like I’m being controlled by someone else, and I have no say in what’s happening. It’s hard to put this feeling into words, but it’s like I’m here physically, but mentally, I’m just... not. Every day feels like a struggle. I wake up afraid of what’s coming next, almost like I’m bracing myself for the next bad thing to happen. Sometimes, I don’t even want to get out of bed because it feels pointless, like I’m stuck in this loop of fear and doubt. I keep questioning everything, life, my purpose, my choices, and it’s exhausting. I just want to feel like myself again, to feel like I have control, like I’m really here.
