I can't suffer anymoreeeee

I am done having characters like this!! I don't ever want to be attracted towards (k/ds) or someone even one year younger than me!!! It just makes me uncomfortable and weird. For example the handsome boy (that's literally what we call him in the manga/anime) from lovesicknees by Junji Ito. Sometimes I want to just enjoy a character with out thinkin they cute or whatever. I'm 18 by the way and I think this guy is stuck in his teens but I don't know what age!!! Age is super Important for me!!! But I highly think he's my age or older (I'm 18). I am fighting every day until I get an answer!!!

It’s totally okay to feel confused or uncomfortable about your reactions to fictional characters. You're not weird or bad for trying to figure out your feelings, that shows you care about boundaries and ethics, which is a good thing.

@notrenaes mith69 Being attracted to a fictional character doesn’t mean anything about who you are in real life. Fictional characters aren’t real people. they exist in exaggerated, stylized, or vague ways that don’t reflect real world rules or consequences.

@notrenaes mith69 Yeah, Junji Ito’s characters are often deliberately vague or stylized. ‘The Handsome Boy’ from Lovesickness doesn’t have a clearly defined age, and that can mess with your head when you’re trying to make sense of your reaction. But remember, feeling something for a drawn or fictional character isn’t the same as wanting something in reality. It’s really good that you care about age and boundaries that shows maturity and self-awareness. Wanting to avoid anything that makes you uncomfortable or crosses your values is healthy. You don’t have to ‘fight every day.’ Being gentle with yourself while you learn about what makes you feel safe, comfortable, and good is part of growing up. You're not alone in feeling this way.

@🎀🧸🩷🤍 it’s okay to not know. Feelings can be confusing, especially with fictional characters. like, they’re not even real people so the lines get blurry sometimes. You’re not doing anything wrong by having a little crush or being unsure. What matters is that you care about real life boundaries and respect, and you clearly do, which is awesome. If the character makes you feel weird, it’s totally fine to step back. but it doesn’t make you a bad person if you do think he’s cute or interesting. Be kind to yourself, you’re figuring stuff out and that’s totally normal! No need to beat yourself up over it

If we liked what we like in fiction but in real life, then I would be considered a furry for absolutely adoring the character Husk in a show called Hazbin Hotel. Believe me, I am not sexually attracted to any of my pet cats or any real cat. I think you’re fine. It’s really just a drawing written with a personality that resonates with you.

@Huskerdust I love hazbin too!! It's the same thing with shapeshifting characters and demon characters who disguise themselves as kids or women!! Like Pride from fmab, klarion, from DC or Pennywise! Like I don't want to be attracted to the body of a k/d. But the personality or whatever. Cause I know they can change their disguise. And i would never ever actually want to be attracted to k/ds or women but the way the characters are like the personality or for example with Pennywise the male clown which I like.
