Im a hypochondriac and recently I’ve been seeing posts about sicknesses and I got worried why all of a sudden they’re popping up on my page. I always think it’s a sign and it scares me especially if i accidentally skip over the videos anyone else?

I used to have health themes and experienced this a lot, and now with my current themes (identity/relationship), I see posts and things about those themes more. It sounds too simple to be true, but you will absolutely notice something that is on the forefront of your mind more often. Also, not sure if that’s how this specific app works, but I know on social media, if you interact with a post that’s super triggering, like you read all the comments or go to the person’s profile, the algorithm knows that you’ll engage with that kind of content more, so it shows you and even more of it so you’ll spend more time on their platform. In some ways, your brain and the algorithm are similar like that! Just try to notice those posts and not assign meaning to the fact that you’re being given those posts. If you engage less, both your brain AND your phone will learn that those things aren’t engaging to you, and will show you them less over time. i am the exact same way. this doesn’t work for everyone but honestly I tell someone my concerns about my health and they usually put into perspective how unrealistic I sound. like my body just magically has all the symptoms for this conveniently right after I discover this new illness.
Hi, I’m new. I’m hypochondriac myself, and I’m 8 weeks pregnant, before I found out I was in the Emergency Room for an ectopic pregnancy. Well it turns out I was early in my pregnancy. Well that was it to trigger everything! Also because they had me going once a week to keep an eye due to possible molar pregnancy. I googled “molar pregnancy “ and something about cancer.!!! From there I just been feeling sick to the point that my health really went downhill! Started bleeding and me just wanting the baby out because of the pain it’s putting my body! Constantly feeling like I have gastric, ovarian and breast cancer! Oh and on one of my ultrasound they found a “fibroma” tumor! So I’m so over concerned about my health.
I’m not sure if this falls into a sub type, maybe magical thinking/spirituality?? Does anyone else get really scared about seeing tarot readings online or on social media towards their sign? In december, i read that Aquarius are going to have to make a decision and another post said Aquarius are going to go through breakups. I also struggle with seeing certain angel numbers that take me back to a time where something didn’t work in my favor. Example: when i see 111 or 1111 i get scared that i need to listen to my “intuition” which i never know what it truly is and that im just making all the wrong choices and that something bad will happen. I have a close friend who is my personal tarot reader who only ever shares positives with me but is still honest. everytime i go into an OCD spiral i contact her and ask for a reading and she’ll end up saying that im protected and all things that i do want to hear and make me feel better but is that a compulsion?
does anyone read something about someone else’s issue and be scared it will start becoming an issue for them too?
My ocd has been flaring up lately I’ve noticed some things that I don’t know if it’s ocd or something else whenever I seen someone like drugged or sick or just not “normal” I feel like or get scared that’s gonna end up being me? Does that make sense or then after a few minutes I feel like I’m them I don’t know exactly how to explain it I feel like I’m gonna start acting crazy or like I act weird or like them ? Idk exactly how to explain it and I have such a drop in my stomach thinking of it because it makes me feel insane, I haven’t had such an ocd episode so it’s getting hard again and making me feel insane specially because I don’t know how to explain this that I feel, I feel so scared rn can someone please comment on this?
