@avabaskovic I'm so sorry for venting like this but I just feel so lonely in my struggles. I cant talk about it with my boyfriend or my friends. Its so tough dealing with this all by myself, just staying quiet.

@stellarprincesse that’s completely okay, venting is how i get things off my chest too, and although i used to find journaling kinda cheesy i found just mind dumping into a journal very therapeutic

@stellarprincesse one day i really just needed to talk to someone for hours about all of my feelings but felt like i’d be a burden. for me, i don’t journal as in “deary diary…” or anything like that. i just write down something that happened, emotions i’m feeling, aspirations, literally anything that’s on my mind. i’ll rant and name drop and do whatever it is just to get stuff off my chest. it feels very relieving. i feel so uncomfortable sharing deep emotions out loud so just writing things down helps a lot. sometimes i’ll look back on old pages and realize things weren’t as big of a deal as i thought they were, which then help me deal with current problems

i’ll be fully transparent, i have never been in a relationship and i am bisexual, but i know too much about intrusive thoughts and how debilitating it is, so i can definitely help you with some reassurance. first of all, whether you are lesbian or not, both ways are completely okay. it’s so common to not fully understand who you are yet, and it’s absolutely understandable. how did you feel before these thoughts with him? did these thoughts all of a sudden shift your feelings of him? in that case, i would say you are stressing yourself out over a possibility. if you had a very sudden change, i would imagine it’s an intrusive thought that’s recurring. maybe make a mental or physical list of all of the things that you are attracted to of him. that might give you some reassurance about how you feel. on the imposter syndrome, if you have been diagnosed with ocd, you have it, and this is a cycle. if you haven’t been, i would still consider you with at the very least ocd-like symptoms. scratch any labels, these are thoughts that you are having trouble with getting out of your head. you feel like it’s a loop that you can’t get out of no matter how bad you want it. either way, you are experiencing discomfort, which is 100% understandable. i think worrying about not having ocd is in itself an ocd thought. i wouldn’t be too worried about that part.

Is there a therapist or a specialist on here that I can briefly chat with? Or maybe an OCD conqueror who’s very familiar with the disorder? I need an experienced person to talk to me so bad. I just really wanna talk to somebody about what I’m going through so that I feel less alone, and so I can maybe get help managing my symptoms. Thank you in advance ♥️
I’ve been dealing with SOOCD for over a year now, and I have been having a very hard day today. I feel like I just need someone to talk too, my whole life I’ve always had girl crushes and always wanted to be romantic with women . Ever since I posted this picture on instagram and one person said I looked “zesty” in it , which is when I started obsessing about being gay . I feel like I put so much meaning to these thoughts where now I’m always checking how I feeling around men. I had a really bad porn addiction for a long time and bad anxiety which fucked up my sex drive. I feel like I doubt if I’m attracted to women when I know I am , but the doubt is so overbearing where I start to believe it . I never was interested in men sexually, and my ocd makes me feel like I like the thoughts even though I feel no pleasure out of it. I feel like I lost who I am as a person . It feels like I don’t even know what my sexuality is and it’s really upsetting to me . I meant this girl the other day and she is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met and I just feel like ocd is getting in the way😭😭😭 please any advice or comments
