What seems to be working you up?? Also, have you reached out to your therapist?? Im sure they'd love to help. Until then, lets work on calming our nervous system. Take intentional deep breaths. 4 seconds in through the nose. Hold for 4 seconds. Exhale through the mouth for 8 seconds *like youre blowing out of a straw* repeat 6 or more times til you feel your body relax. I really hope this helps.
@TchéfD0bbY718 Love this advice. Meditating, calming music, or being mindful also are good I feel.
Thank you. Its because im a monster. I have a bunch of fantasies about trafficking
@crying always If by "fantasy" you mean just a thought that induces a feeling/sensation within you, then you can't for sure label it a fantasy. Could just be an obsession, intrusive thoughts. OCD. If you dont like it...it's not a fantasy...just so you know.
@YouWillSurvive I do get good feelings and seek it out but i also wish it would go away, its like hypersexual or something
@crying always Do you know about "sexual non-concordance"?
@YouWillSurvive Whats it, friend
What do you want to hear
Im confused by this comment. Is it because im a monster
@crying always No but u seem to post a lot and im confused on where u need support. And what the fear is. Is it scared of being a monster?
you okay?
Okay. Well I'm learning that thoughts are not threats and feelings are not facts. Sounds cliché at first but eventually you realize it to be true. I'm also learning that you can't control your thoughts, especially the first ones that cross our minds. Its acknowledging them and choosing not to interract with them. *easier said than done, I know* Saying outloud that you don't have to interract with the thoughts. That feelings are not facts and thoughts are not threats. That you dont like these thoughts but you can handle them. And choosing to sit with that until you can safely and intentionally calm yourself down. Practice that breathing technique too. Take back control of the run away train that is your mind.
you’re not a monster and i’m really sorry you’re going through this. the fact that it upsets you so much means the thoughts are unwanted.
I am very sad. I have obsessive thoughts from night to morning or in a week. I am scared. I am 23 years old now. I have been suffering from obsessive thoughts for eight years. I am not from a rich family. Please someone help me. I can't do anything because the thoughts don't make me progress. I have no friends at university. No one talks to me.Help me, help me, please.
I'm struggling severely. Please comment so I have a therapist or someone to talk to. Someone has caused me to spiral in another group.
