when I start to panic, i tell myself out loud โhello ocd and goodbyeโ. while this may be easier said than done, it helps me trick my brain into realizing its just a thought and i can continue with my day. another habit i have is to take a drive with the windows down and take a huge breath of fresh air. my anxiety levels lower a lot by doing this
