It really depends on how much effort you put into the therapy and not giving into your OCD. The issue is about giving into your OCD, essentially.
I have intrusive thoughts all the time. They don’t bother me and I don’t interact with them because I know that will make things worse no matter what the topic is. I don’t have themes or any issues because i have a thought and that’s it. No interest or interaction.
That’s REALLY hard to do at first and you have to reprogram your mind not to automatically react and fine into your OCD.
Do the homework assigned by your therapy and give it you absolute all during the sessions since they’re expensive. It will be scary and hard but it will be worth it.
