Like for example can we get some images out of nowhere? When were happy..and daydreaming.. Suddenly something that we fear comes up in our mind the image and its a werid tightness in chest and kind of feeling warm and liking it?

My question is How can a disorder make us feel something we fear feel real. ? And then can it give false or intrusive warm or good feelings.?while having thoughts or images?
@ONE INDIAN GIRL The human body is very complicated, and many things that happen in our bodies are outside of our control. It’s totally possible to have physical reactions to thoughts that don’t align with your values. Those “warm/good” feelings that may feel good in the body but wrong in the brain are totally natural and okay. This happens to everyone! But since you have OCD, you take those feelings and make meaning out of them. Most people might have a small experience like that and move on forever, but those of us with OCD react, ruminate, and do compulsions in response. This in turn causes more intrusive thoughts and feelings as the brain is so focused on the topic, and there goes the OCD cycle. The way out is to recognize that those warm feelings are allowed to exist and you are allowed to let them exist without reacting or figuring it out. It’s okay for those feelings to be in your brain and body—just let them. It doesn’t have to mean something about you. You know what you truly want for yourself. ❤️

@ONE INDIAN GIRL OCD is not the thoughts, but your reaction to them. All thoughts come from us and our brains — it’s a misnomer to call something an “ocd thought.” But not all thoughts we think or feelings we feel align with our desires, values, and intentions. What ocd does is latch onto these thoughts and blow them up into huge obsessions. And yes, if you are obsessing about something due to OCD, you will usually experience way more intrusive thoughts and feelings about that topic because of the OCD cycle. So in that way yes, ocd (or engaging with ocd) can cause thoughts and feelings. Does that make sense?
@OutstandingCutieDisorder Okay But can this happen randomly cause it happened to me.. And was wave of tightness and warm and anxious feeling..
@ONE INDIAN GIRL What do you mean randomly? If this is your ocd obsession, then that feeling isn’t random. It’s part of your body and mind reacting to intrusive thoughts which are brought on by the cycle of ocd.
@OutstandingCutieDisorder Ohhh yes.. I was triggered due to one celeb few weeks back And i moved on.. But today when i was happy imagining random things like abour celebs but not her it went like wait celebrity ? Then shes one too! then a image of her randomly popped and the things happened..
@ONE INDIAN GIRL That’s a textbook example of a “trigger.” Just going about your day and nothing is wrong, but then all of a sudden something normal reminds you of your obsession. That’s what happened!

Is there a therapist or a specialist on here that I can briefly chat with? Or maybe an OCD conqueror who’s very familiar with the disorder? I need an experienced person to talk to me so bad. I just really wanna talk to somebody about what I’m going through so that I feel less alone, and so I can maybe get help managing my symptoms. Thank you in advance ♥️
I'm sry if this may make people worry or feel uncomfortable in advance! Hello everyone as u can see I struggle with ocd and I HATE IT WITH MY LIFE , it started in 2020 covid obv contamination ocd started here , I used to carry alcohol everywhere and used to wash my hands so much that it bled ( had to wear gloves to cover it so friends or family won't see it ) and everything else started since then , harm ocd with myself or friends I couldn't hold a knife..it was really hard..and I have unwanted sexual thoughts ocd , I have panic attacks bc of this..I sometimes cannot look people into their eyes and its so random and so scary..thoughts about.. 🍇..whether it's me or I'm gonna harm someone else uk..I sometimes cannot function properly.. unfortunately friends don't understand it rather think it's about " perfectionism "..I wrote those thoughts and stuff in a journal in more details ofc and doodle ( I'm scared someone will find it ) I hate myself tbh and I don't think someone will read this... I suspect I have ADHD with all this but ocd is " ur faking it " even though lots of people have hinted about it , I thought I actually killed someone for 2 years a girl..until I realized what HOCD is , I thought I faked my ocd too in fact , I have perfectionism ocd too it's bad and I HATE PURE O it's so DRAINING uk.. also idk if this has caused a problem for anyone but if y'all know the Truman show ( basically if u don't know the main character is being filmed and his life is fake and he doesn't know it ) THAT MOVIE HAS HARMED ME SO BADLY FOR YEARS that until today I have to check in the bathroom if there are cameras cuz like ocd makes me think I'm living in a fake world , I used to think people around me , everyone was like a Ai model or smth.. everytime until today I have to clean the toilet seat bc it may be dirty..I have been taking up to 5 showers a day cuz maybe I'm dirty..that's it for today tysm if u read this till the end I'd like to know ur thoughts if u got tips or have similar experiences ! 🤗 U get a chocolate bar 🍫 bc u earned it bc ik how ocd is so frustrating ( I also noticed everyone who has ocd is so nice right 😆! )
