Needing help
I am having a hard time today. I struggle with ocd especially over Christianity. I feel so alone because I've annoyed everyone in my family about it that they don't want me to bring it up anymore. I just want someone to talk to, another Christian to talk to who knows what I'm talking about.

I am a Christian and have had religious ocd for a long time. I used to try and hide it bc I didn’t want to be seen as a religious freak or like I was pushing my beliefs on others. My brother and my dad would get mad at me when I didn’t end my praying with everyone else. My dad is now more accepting and helpful but I think I can understand where you’re coming from. I’ve also felt so alone in this and I didn’t realize how much I did until I cried when I saw someone describing exactly what I felt. I still feel kind of alone so that’s why I’m looking for a person with ROCD to talk with as well. Thank you for your post and feel free to talk to me:)
Thank you for your reply. That thing has exactly happened to me plenty of times. I'd go on praying and everyone would stare at me or be confused why it took me so long

I'm a Christian. I've had some religious OCD. I'm not trying to give reassurance, but I also have relationship OCD. I feel like the two can get much relate because I feel religious OCD can be very much about it relationship with God. Something that has helped me (something I've heard from my religious leaders or other scriptural scholars) is that when you get disappointed with God, maybe you need to re-examine whether you're trying to put God in a neat little box. Maybe your beliefs about how he works are false (I'm sorry if this is triggering). I've found that when I don't assume that I know how God should react or bless me, I am more able to grow in my relationship. A relationship where I know he loves me, but he cannot take away all my sorrow, because to do so, would be too stunt my growth. Growth he wants me to make and BELIEVES I can make. I don't know what kind of doubts you are having, but I do know that if you work with you're OCD therapist, it can not only help you find relief from your OCD symptoms, but it can allow you to have a relationship with God that's full of compassion and love, instead of anxiety.
if any responds to this, it would save my night. Just knowing there is someone there who understands. This past week my ocd has been worse than usually. My harm ocd is so terrible, violent thoughts and images fill my head and I can’t make it stop and the thoughts constantly are centered toward my family members. It’s so terrible I just feel like crying and I’m so heavy and empty inside. Does anyone else understand? Know what it’s like. All this fear and doubt. Are these my own thoughts? Why am I having these? Am I a psychopath? Do I want to do these things? And so on. I just want to scream. I’m so so scared and I feel sick to my stomach and I don’t want to be anywhere near my family right now. Help me please
No one understands my OCD in my family. No one knows any of my themes and I just need someone to be able to talk to. I just want to cry and be in my dark room forever.
I don’t know what to do anymore someone please talk to me so I’m know I’m not alone. My life is a nightmare my mental health is declining
