i’ve been in a really bad funk for like a week now and i can’t get out of it. my ocd hasn’t been this bad since i started treatment a month ago and i was doing so well and now im really down again and i can see it effecting my relationship w my mom and family again and i feel so hopeless and just really depressed.
When you are in therapy and really facing your OCD, it will really hit extra hard to keep you in your old habits. Don’t worry! OCD feeds on compulsions. It picks on what you care about most because it knows you will react against OCD… thus feeding it. It lies!

I've gone through that, feeling like it won't pass, but it usually does, like a phase of just feeling down, and of course those feeling will always be in the back of the head, but it's good that you started treatment, and just keep up with it, and maybe tell you health care provider how you've been feeling, they could help suggest something, and I don't know if it's the same, but for me I tell my family how I feel and it helps to feel there support. Im sorry you feel hopeless, just think that your not the only one out there, your not alone. I hope you feel better, and wish you the best!

OCD is making me feel very depressed. I’m on the highest dose of fluoxetine. I was “okay” a week ago but now I just feel hopeless and irritated by everything. Can anyone share tips which make could make me feel better even just for a little while?? Thank you
I am so upset. I really always knew somewhere deep down i wasn’t a terrible human being but over the past 2 weeks something changed, i stopped having anxiety drastically and now have much more difficulty not believing thoughts. it feels like they are real. and i just don’t understand how i could be so repulsed by something the day before this happened and now feel nothing, i’m terrified. i’m 17. i feel like it’s all over. i’ve had periods where i lost clarity before but they came back but for the past weeks i’ve just been stuck and i can’t cope and i can’t explain it and i’m not sure what to do. i feel like these past 2 ish years of dealing with it are all a lies. but it just doesn’t make sense, i want to feel disgust not clarity? and now i feel no hope. i was supposed to get a diagnosis soon but it just feels like everything changed so quickly. how is this possible? im so upset and i can’t breathe or think and im terrified all at the same time as feeling nothing. it doesn’t feel like back door spike it just feels real. im a lost cause, i can’t do this anymore… i wanted to be good and now i feel like im what i feared. please help? i don’t know if this is ocd?
Does anyone else feel like they are getting worse? I started here a couple months ago doing ERP, but I feel like my OCD is getting way worse and am hardly able to function properly most days without panic or anxiety attacks …. I try response therapy, but it hasn’t worked for me. I’m not sure what to do going forward. Any suggestions?
