It's all in your head, IMHO. Connecting with females might seem easier because, as a female, you understand their feelings and preferences. However, when it comes to sexuality, it might not be your cup of tea; otherwise, you wouldn't question it. I'm not suggesting that connecting with boys is more challenging, but it does require the right mindset and approach. Instead of focusing on seeking love from either boys or girls right now, I recommend working on self-love and appreciation. You are an intelligent woman, and like all women, you possess qualities that make you special to a man. However, it's important to first nurture your relationship with the woman within you, if that makes sense.

I use to think I was lesbian but when I went to have sex with a girl I was highly repulsed and couldn’t do it even though I cared for them. I later realized that I was attracted to anyone who love me and accepted me. I wasn’t meant to be lesbian if that makes sense, hence the reason I’m not sexually attracted. I was attracted to their spirit persay….. it’s hard to explain but your story is similar to mine. Just something to ponder on
