A little tip!
My therapist often asked me this during our sessions and it’s helped me immensely realize how almost all of my intrusive thoughts all will lead to the same core fear in the end. She would ask me “what would it mean if that were true/ what would happen if that were true?” And I would answer and then she would ask again and again and I would realize that for all my intrusive thoughts it would all lead to the same conclusion. This helped me lean in and accept uncertainty since ocd will make assumptions about the future but there is no certainty that will actually occur. Try this out sometime and see if it works for you!
