OCD will tell you anything it needs to. It wants you to be terrified. You can’t allow it to control you. Being young and exploring the internet is something we all did. We found some nasty stuff. It does not define you. The thoughts do not define you. Being a p word is bad, your brain knows how bad it would be to be a p word. OCD is telling you the worse case scenario. What your OCD isn’t tell you is the thousands of hours of natural thoughts. Everyone has insane thoughts. Everyone has crazy childhood stories of browsing the internet unsupervised. Remind your OCD that it can tell you whatever it wants. You are stronger than it.

I have this problem too but not with fan fanfiction stories. I wasn't taught anything about sex at home or in school. I just happened to find sexual content online and I remember all of the really bad things I've seen and it's hard to forget about them. Most of the were fiction, but some of them were real.. I remember seeing so many things on YouTube and other sites and somehow.. somehow it didn't click with me on what it really was when it was that young. I just didn't know better and I try to give myself grace in that area. It's hard but I will try. I also worry about times where I've escalated and searched for taboos. Like one time I searched for a taboo but it had the word "lil" in it and it makes my OCD go off to the max. I really don't think my intent was to see kids at all because that would be so disgusting but my intrusive thoughts tell me this constantly and I hate it. I also try to keep in mind that what people watch on there isn't a reflection of what they perceive in real life (mostly, sometimes that can be different)
