I’ve never heard of it but I do have a laptop. I like superheroes I was actually going to watch more Marvel movies because I have Disney+ and I like mystery, fantasy like vampires, werewolves, magic and stuff like that. I love Supernatural but I’m only on season 2

Although things didn’t go your way for the Covid results , remember what we still have to trust God . Let God show you how faithful He is to you . Regardless of things going our way or not , we have to remember the goodness of our Father in Heaven ! I remember talking to you a couple of days ago . I prayed for you too ! I’ll continue to pray for a speedy recovery . Please don’t get depressed or anxious . Continue to take your precautions and know that this will be all over sooner than you know it . Watching movies , enjoying great food , calling friends and laughing , playing worship music , and praying are all great and productive things to do ! I hope you get well soon! Looking forward to hearing from you soon when your results come back negative ! Have faith 🙏🏽

Thank you I appreciate it. I’m having a hard time with faith because of everything hitting me at once. I feel so overwhelmed to having Covid, not being able to see my family, pets, friends. Not being paid for time out sick with Covid and ocd really bothering me right now (pocd theme and real event ocd theme) plus past mistakes guilt, shame. Losing friendships. Just everything hurts right now but I will try to focus on God it’s just really hard when everything in my mind is telling me that there’s no hope anymore

@Just Breathe ❤️ Hey I completely understand what you’re going through . I’m going through all of the above except pocd (which I’m not sure what that is ) and Covid . Everything else I’m experiencing . I’m dealing with past mistakes which are actually current because I’ve sinned willingly against God , doubt , fear , depression and anxiety . The list goes on but they could be triggering you and I . I really wish that there was a way to chat more on here . I’d love to give help and develop friendships with so many people that are relatable to me . For now , stay faithful and hopeful ! Don’t let what’s going on around you to change your image of God and faith . This actually builds you stronger . Your testimony is going to be so much more valuable because of your “Good Fight” . I can feel your pain and worry . You sound defeated , trust me I’m the same way . I just want to encourage you just as others encourage me . I’m fighting because I know my brothers and sisters in Christ are fighting . Keep up the good work . You’ve got this !

@Junior96! Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. It gives me hope. I love God with all my heart I just don’t understand why my prayers aren’t being answered or I’m being put through so much trial and tribulation but in the end God is always there and his love endures forever. Feel better too friend and may God bring you comfort and peace tonight as well 🙏🏻🙂

@Just Breathe ❤️ Before you go , I wanted to share this with you . I was listening to the JoyFM Chrsitian radio here in Ga . The guy on the radio said that “ The Biggest Hurdles In Life Comes With The Greatest Reward “ . How awesome is that . Take that truth and realize how much God believes in you . Your prayers will be answered on time ! Our times isn’t always God’s time . Keep being that faithful beloved daughter that He calls you to be . 🙏🏽

Last night was the hardest because usually my family celebrates New Years and I was just in my room when it turned 12 all by myself and it made me really sad to be honest but I’m hanging in there. @Just Breathe ❤️ I know you may be struggling mentally and spiritually, but remember that God is with you . He cares for you and He is going to keep in favoring over you . Don’t let this bring you down . This only adds to your testimony. This will remind you how strong God has created you to be .

@Junior96! Yeah I’m grateful that’s it’s not severe. I remember now it’s the 4th day not 3rd. It’s been going by pretty fast and I am starting to feel much better. My mom just took my niece back home because she was staying with us for the week so she’s going to quarantine back home and my mom and grandma are also in quarantine. I called my grandma yesterday she said that she was feeling fine that she had no Covid symptoms but my mom told me she doesn’t feel good so I’m worried about what if I gave it to my mom. I’m trying to stay strong but it’s real hard when not only Covid is trying to bring me down but so are my ocd themes but I’m praying I can get through this and I appreciate your prayers as well. God bless!

@Just Breathe ❤️ I had Covid and it was hard mentally for sure. Recovery is coming for you:) I do still think 5 days is what CDC is saying you quarantine and then wear a mask after that. Especially since you are feeling better. Maybe some time outside will help 💕

@emmy sue Yeah I believe it is too I just want to keep my family safe. Of course I will wear a mask around the house and stuff but I really can’t afford to not work. They aren’t even paying the employees who are out with Covid and it’s so unfair. Thank you I appreciate it 🙂

This is a list of TV show I recommend that you can mostly find on Netflix: Cobra kai (funny and unexpectedly really good, binge-watchable), Cowboy Bebop (if you're more leaning to eastern animation, 1 season), Hawkeye (6 episodes), Blue Period (anime, new episode weekly), Arcane (steampunk-fantasy, gorgeous animation, 9 episodes), Avatar the last Airbender. If you also like kdramas I recommend "it's okay to not be okay", "move to heaven" (it's very moving, honestly I consider it to be a masterpiece), "Hospital Playlist" (2 seasons, a well balance between comedy and drama, I laughed and bawled my eyes out in every single episode, one of the best kdramas out there)

Idk if im the only one but I've literally just been holed up in my bedroom for the past 3 months and have barely gone out especially in the last 2. I'm too scared to leave and interact with people normally because I feel like a criminal and like someone who doesn't deserve to be around others. But in the same breath, I'm starting to hate my bedroom. It just feels like all my negative emotions are being bottled up and stored in here. I keep telling myself I should go out and take a walk and maybe it will feel better to just be out in the fresh air. But also don't want to because I'm quite lethargic on top of not eating that much either. Just feeling... stuck.

I was doing so great for about a month, ups and downs. Now I’m riddled with anxiety. I’m trying to push through, I’ve been cooking and doing other things that make me feel productive. I had Covid like two weeks ago, felt better for 3 days (exhausted though) and boom I get hit with strep throat. My anxiety is through the roof, rejection sensitivity is all I know right now. Ruminating turned up to max volume that I keep having to slam down. I’m feeling pretty hopeless and lonely. I feel scared and full of shame. My body hurts and my throat is killing me. I’m so exhausted. I feel like I’m on 1% I just needed to vent a bit but if anyone has any advice I’d appreciate it so much

I wanted to share with you guys some of the things that have helped me in the past few weeks! If you’re open to it, maybe try a few and see how you feel! First I would really recommend leaning on God. If you’re not a believer you may be skeptical but if you’ve never tried to read the Bible, prayer or even just talking with God, I would recommend so much! My relationship with God has gotten so much better through this terrible illness and in turn I have noticed a lot of positivity, I feel substantially better since I’ve been trying to bring this to God instead of worry about it myself. If you can give your worries to God and learn to have faith that he is with you, loves and forgives you. You have a great step towards recovery and even just a more positive life. Next, try going outside! I know it sounds kinda dumb but I mean it! Some of my best days started with just going outside, reading a book and or listening to music. I went out and tanned, ate some fruit with some lemonade and read “Girl Wash Your Face” it was a great book! I would spend HOURS and it helped me so much! Take a walk, hike, etc.! This leads into the next thing…READING! I recently bought the new book “don’t believe everything you think” and the workbook and it is amazing! This also applies to reading your Bible and other books, specially ones targeting self help and things like that! Another thing is fitness! Try out the gym, I know there is days that you just can’t bring yourself to get up but in those days, make yourself go to the gym! Even if you just go walk on the treadmill or bike! Anything is better than nothing! Keep yourself active, I promise it will make you feel better! Find a good podcast! I have been listening to (The OCD Stories on Spotify), sometimes I’ve even listened while I was going to sleep and let it play through the night! Go on YouTube and follow Chrissie Hodges, NOCD and look for other people who help! Go on instagram and follow Chrissie Hodges, NOCD, iocdf, sincerelyocd, recoverocd, letstalk.ocd, my lovely ocd and there are so many more! Find good music! Again I’m going to bring up worship music some of my favs being ( I Thank God, Move of God, Hard fought Hallelujah, The Truth, Made for more, Thy Will, and there is so many more!) if you would like I can share my playlist! But overall music is so helpful and if you are not a believer or want something different I would recommend songs by Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Rihanna, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, even Billy Joel, Queen, Beck, and things of that nature that are gonna get you PUMPED UP! Lastly, hang out with PEOPLE! Don’t let OCD rule your life, put your ocd in a box best you can and go live your life! Get lunch with a friend, join a bible study, go get a massage, even just meet up with a friend and talk in a parking lot while shoving your face with fast food! You NEED interaction as much as you don’t want to! I know some of these are hard, some is triggering or you’re nervous that you’re gonna spiral, but step out of your comfort zone! That’s the way to get better! Do things that make you feel uncomfortable, the things that are unknown, the things you used to do before this! You can still live and love your life you don’t have to keep just “surviving”! And this isn’t a fix all, trust me I still have my days where I’m like nope I’m staying in bed and crying, but you need to push yourself! No one is coming to hold your hand and walk you out of this, you have to want to help yourself too! And you can do that! I know it’s scary and uncomfortable but you got this! We’re gonna kick some OCD butt! I hope you find this helpful and I wish you the most luck! Comment if you have questions and whatnot! 🫶
