Exposures for health/illness OCD
My therapist today I should try covering my mirrors or not looking at them (to stop myself from checking my skin, etc.) and it feels SO HARD. She also mentioned that if I can’t cover them, to use motion sensor night lights in my bathroom instead of the full light so I can’t check as easily (since the light will be too dim). I think I’m going that route, but I’m still scared I won’t be able to check things I need to check to keep myself safe. But that’s the OCD, right? Anyone else do this exposure? I feel alone.
