Hi all. 29 days into taking 50mg Sertraline and I am curious if anyone experienced different side effects after taking it for a few weeks to when you started taking it in the first few days?
Oh yes. Some irritability, mild mood swings, restlessness.
I took it in the mornings because it didn't make me sleepy.
@RMO2023 Thanks for your comments! I take mine in the morning too mainly because I noticed Insomnia as a side effect!
I stopped taking it because I noticed a serious weight gain problem for me personally. I started taking Wellbutrin, but sertraline definitely worked better. Sertraline made me feel a little sluggish sometimes. It’s definitely a great medication to decrease the anxiety and if you’re concerned about the side affects just know you don’t have to be on this medication permanently.
hi, I just started taking a low dosage of zoloft(sertraline) for OCD and generalized anxiety and I am on my second day. For anyone who has taken an SSRI or my specific medicine, how long did it take for you to notice a difference?
Hello, does anyone know how long it takes for sertraline to work? I've just started my treatment 1 hour ago (I know I'm very impatient) but I just wanted to know, and does sertraline 25mg work? I'm afraid it won't work.
Hello all, I have been on 50mg of sertraline since 2023 and just recently as of 3 weeks ago began to taper off to 25mg. Has anyone experienced side effects due to this? Mine have been terrible flu like symptoms, for the past 11 days I have had terrible headaches, body aches, and hot and cold sweats non stop. Has anyone experienced these issues?
