do you really need to believe it?
do you gotta only tell yourself to be uncertain or you REALLY need to be uncertain? like REALLY BELIEVE in it

being uncertain means stop trying to figure it out, i think it’s best for you to say to yourself, doesn’t matter if i’m a bad person or not because it’s my actions what count. i’m still the same person regardless of my fear and i’m gonna focus on the things i acc care about and almost ignore the fear, stop trying to figure it out and don’t avoid it just acknowledge and then don’t pay too much attention to it
so you gotta believe you are not going to act on it but dont try to figure it out?
@Roccoxx555 But what if you feel like or think you may have acted on it? You may never know! How do you know it’s the OCD and not you?
It sure sounds like OCD from here! Therapy can help a lot
That’s kinda my question. All my thoughts feel so realistic and so now I doubt if they are ocd and if I just can’t make my mind up about something and I’m using ocd as an excuse or something idc I feel like this post is word vomit.
When an intrusive thought comes I can’t just say “that’s not true” and just move on. I always feel like I have to disprove the thought and be able to say it with confidence but the problem is that the ocd doesn’t allow me to feel and say it with confidence so I get stuck for hours or even days. How can I stop feeling like I need to do this?
should i be doing erp instead of repeating again and again "none of that shits real. none of that shits real. none of that shits real" ? i can’t tell if it makes it better or not
