Tip of the day
So I had an intrusive thought (wow what a shocker! Lol.) I made a point to not give into doing anything about it by immediately finding something to keep myself busy with and sure the thought remained and tried to come back a few times but the anxiety eventually dissipated and I could at least be like “I don’t agree with this, this is not me”. I don’t like the thought by any means and feel bad for having even had had the thought but to know it’s the OCD helps. And also on the not so fun days that feeling eventually dissipates after I’ve had the chance to sleep it off. Not the best method perhaps but I could night’s rest can be rather restorative! Anyways just a little reminder that “redirection” can help! Stay strong everyone.
