I had a wet dream the other day about me receiving oral sex from a girl, but because the girl kinda had a man’s facial structure and I think she had hair on the face my ocd is making me ruminate about it, is this just ocd giving it’s part to a normal dream?? Hey don’t worry dreams are more common in soocd feel free with your dreams it is just a dream even I get weird dreams sometimes i was so scared but i learned about that dreams are more common Tip is that don’t try to explore just leave you will automatically forget the dream be as normal as u are don’t watch porn keep calm Many dreams come during the different sleep phases we only remember the dreams which comes in some certain sleep phase so don’t worry be clam and relax

It feels scary because it goes against your values and that is understandable. That is really the only certainty I can offer you. Beyond that, you have to be okay with not knowing exactly what the dream means. Your mind wants to attach meaning quickly and that is the OCD at work. But here is the beautiful part. You do not have to know. Life does not require us to understand everything. When you insist on finding meaning, you actually give OCD more power. The truth is, you genuinely do not know and that is perfectly okay. Dreams are out of your control, just like certain emotions or appetites. They do not mean anything unless you let them. And here is the empowering part. You can choose the meaning you give them. You do not have to believe the interpretations OCD pushes on you. You can choose to hold truth instead.

Had this exact thing happen to me. Is ocd and plus the constant anxiety of overthinking that is part of ocd but is also a personality trait of caring. You have already done the first step which is to acknowledge how you feel which is good. Just don’t take the dream seriously yes was a wet dream but is not something you acted upon in real life. OCD and dreams have a way of making feel insane and remember that. Do not let it mess up your reality. Like you mentioned it was what happened that caused a reaction not the “person”.

Heyyyy!

So my OCD has been bad lately. I’ve been ruminating and obsessing over my sexuality again. And it just keeps getting worse. I hate it so much. I try to sit with the discomfort but then my ocd does the backdoor spike. And the groinal response is what keeps me looped. It SUCKS. I am not attracted to men, but my OCD is trying SO hard to convince me that I am. There have been days where I’m just so mentally exhausted that I “accept” what my ocd tells me and I just walk around a hollow, lethargic shell. But then I rethink it and I feel better. It feels like I can only find my TRUE self when I tire my nervous system out enough that it literally breaks down and has me suicidal and hopeless. And then accepting my OCD’s “truth” (that I’m attracted to men) feels like a burden and a chore. I woke up today from an OCD dream, tried to go back to sleep, and my stomach kept cramping bc I was so anxious and ruminating over my intrusive thoughts. I’m starting to doubt it being OCD anymore. My brain is too tired to fight and cry about it anymore.
