The stage
I was thinking about it and my ocd literally seemed non existent when I was dealing with chronic pain and also when I was really struggling with my religion and trying to figure out what I believed. Also, when I was in college. I’m realizing that our mind is a stage and my mind was too filled with other things to have room for ocd. Now in my life i don’t have chronic pain, not in college, etc. I constantly struggle. In fact I remember as soon as my chronic pain went away my ocd came back and has been really strong since. I think people like us with ocd have an overactive brain and really need stuff to fill our mind stage otherwise from my experience it fills with stupid ocd stuff and obsessing and ruminating. Not saying we need pain to get rid of ocd but really challenging our minds with other things for me made my ocd practically non existent.
