Who here suffers from sexual/harm ocd? I've suffered from obsessions about being attracted to family members, children, animals, all of which have now calmed down and don't really bother me much, i'm shocked too considering i've not had major obsessions or thoughts because i've not been on medication for months and months, just goes to show that it can pass
Hi all, I'm currently struggling with getting my hand washing under control. I have a rather intense fear of illness (due to nearly dying at 11) and as cold season approaches, my washing gets to the point of cracked bleeding hands. Any advice on how to approach this? I am also in therapy however would like to ask you all just incase!
My mother keeps telling me to "get in control" of my head and "just say no". Any advice on how I can make her understand better ?
