Did anyone ever have a ADHD diagnosis before learning that it was OCD? The ADHD symptoms appeared as secondary to OCD? I never fully fit the ADHD diagnosis, however I knew something was extraordinary about my mind. According to my research, ADHD and OCD cannot occur together despite conflicting stats. Anyone have anything to add?

My current boyfriend is great and sweet and loving and kind, I love him but I don’t know if I want to be with him for the rest of my life. We’ve only been dating for 1 month and he’s already talking about marrying me one day. This kind of freaks me out. Like we just started dating. As the days go by I think more and more about how something just doesn’t feel right with him. Like I love him and think he’s amazing but something just doesn’t feel right. Idk if it’s my gut telling me that it’s not meant to be, or it’s just my anxiety taking over. Everything just happened so fast with us, and I’m struggling to keep up. Sometimes I think about life with someone else and that feels more right then when I think of life with my current boyfriend. Does this make me a horrible person? I just honestly don’t know what to think anymore. Thoughts??
Anyone willing to help with my speech on OCD? :) So I have to write a speech for my English exam and my topic of choice is OCD and the stigma around it. The title question I’ve given it is: ‘Should society be more conscious of the ignorance and prejudice circulating obsessive compulsive disorder?’. In the speech I’ll then argue why more should be done to tackle the misunderstood nature of OCD and the impacts of this! But there are two things I need help for. Firstly, I need to give examples of the problems and consequences of the stigma. So any ideas and first hand experiences would be greatly appreciated! And maybe some solutions to this too. It’d be great to embed some real quotes and stories. But secondly I need some help on a more personal level. I’m having a lot of doubts about this speech as I feel like a part of me is only writing it for attention. I know so so much about OCD because I have it, so I know I could make a really powerful speech. But I just feel like I’m ONLY doing it to make a powerful speech, not to raise awareness on the severity of the stigma. And I feel so wrong for this. Even worse, a part of me is EXCITED to reveal my struggles to the class. I don’t even know why. Very very few people know about my OCD, because I worry I’m faking it for attention. I’ve always felt special for having OCD and feel so wrong for that. So advice on this would also be appreciated as I’m really devoted to this speech, I just feel like my intentions are impure. Thanks for your help (on either of the two issues!!).
A new fear has arisen that I’m a latent racist. I hate this. The worst part is, I’ve actually thought some racist things in the past. I can only remember about two, because they worried me, but that’s still wrong. I had one about an hour ago hence I’m writing this. I want to love everyone and not judge. I’m wrong for this. Having some very very bad thoughts about STIs. I’ve only ever had one sexual partner and that was my ex, and we had a serious relationship. However, he had four other partners before me and even though he said he’d been tested I still panic. Now, due to some spotting that happens after I do stuff on my own, I’m starting to really panic that I have an STI. He sweet talked/guilt tripped me into having sex without a condom a couple of times, which I really REALLY didn’t like but because of my OCD I can be made to feel guilty so easily and so I caved. Now all I’m doing is panicking thinking I have an STI even though I’ve only had sex whilst in a monogamous relationship. Just, help. I need something to put my mind at ease because I’m terrified.

Is ERP for hocd to look at lesbian couples on Instagram? And do it until you don’t feel anxious? I feel like I’m so worried about groinal responses (idk what those even are) when I look at it almost like it forces something down there to happen cuz I’m focused on if something happens or not
